I think it’s the Dutch auction thing but with a masochistic twist. Slowly slowly drop the price then, just when you go to fill up, shift it up to a few cents more than it was to start with a few days or so ago.

Re: Cheap Gas!
If anyone is driving through the Rockies between Jasper and Lake Louise make sure they fill up in either one before leaving.
We got caught during the summer in the only gas station between the two (Saskatchewan River Crossing) and were charged $1.01/litre whereas it was about 74-75c in the other two. |
Re: Cheap Gas!
A car related question.
Are cats eyes used anywhere in Canada, apart from in cats obviously. My wife said they probably couldn't be used here as the snow ploughs would ave em up. God, my wife an I are boring. |

True cats eyes are on a little rubber mount, so when they are driven over, they pop down and up again, and the glass reflector is wiped clean in the process. As a kid on merseyside we used to delight in trying to pick the damned things out of there rubber holders..I dont remember why! http://www.design-technology.info/inventors/page14.htm |
Re: Cheap Gas!
I have never seen them in Ontario.
We usd to try to pick the things out, too - and I was brought up in Hertfordshire, so don't have the same excuse. ;)
