Type of car is important in the UK, it's not in Ontario. Maybe I said this already.

Did you bring your proof of no claims with you some companies such as the one I am with. Offer a slight discount for proof of British no claims. You start as intermediate driver versus a novice driver.

Unfortunately with no claims proof or not. The first year will be painful but next year it will go down a substanial amount.
