chc singapore

Hi
I applied at the singapore CHC in oct 01, undergone medicals in april 02. They asked me to pay the ROLF in July 02, which i have already done. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the PR papers after the ROLF payed? I have also received admission to do masters at the university of british columbia, and is it advisable to apply for a student visa while waiting for the PR papers?

we applied as a skilled worker, (independent immigration), we never had any interview. It was pretty straight forward, probably because we submitted all the documents when we applied, we also submitted a letter from CCPE saying that our degree is reconized.

Contact : [email protected] for the application form , completed form should be send along with 175 Cdn.it will take few months to get the assessment done by the ccpe, however if they tell you that ur degree is recognized then it will help u a lot in ur application for PR.
Have you applied for the police clearance certificates? IF you have n't submitted along with ur application, it may cause further delay.

CHC do not give u a formal request to get the pcc. U r supposed to apply to the FBI and the sing police authority directly and submit the letters to CHC. If u haven't done it already, after they process ur application, they will tell u they require it and then u will have to apply and that will cause further delay. PCC is a must..
