Hi mate,

Just came across your post and I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

I am due to sit my APC this autumn and become a chartered surveyor doing the same kind of work as you; valuations, rent reviews and some agency. After a university trip to Toronto in 2012 I have wanted to move to Canada and now that I'm a bit closer to qualifying I have started to look into the mechanics of emigrating but slightly disappointed to hear that the MRICS designation is not really recognised in Canada.

Anyway, if you are able to keep the thread up to date on any progress you make and share your story it'd be great.
