Catelogue of goods for customs

Hi

I will be moving to Ontario in July and am starting to pack as we need to move out of the house in 3 weeks. How detailed a list do we need for our goods to go through customs? For toys would it be Box 1- toys or does it need to be Box 1 - 1x Spiderman, 1x Wolverine, 1x Football and for clothes, shoes etc is it ok to put Box2 - CLothes or again does it need to say 1xdress, 3x shoes?

Thanks

Hi there ..."Box 1 - clothes, Box 2 - toys" is all the detail you need.

Do it in Excel so it's easy for the IO to read (our shipper's inventory was illegible!) and provide a couple of copies.

I think there is quite a lot of info on this on here already ...perhaps have a look in the wiki, which is a mine of info.
