shipping a car to uk, anyone done it, how much, who can i speak to?

I believe the insurance will be higher in the UK if the car is left-hand drive.

Not necessarily - we never found that to be a problem when living in the UK with LHD cars.

Some companies will not insure LHD in UK.

There is also an issue with importing into Canada with regard to the emissions - you may have to adapt UK cars.

Yeah but there are lots that do - we never found it to be an issue with the US imported cars ALL LHD that we had in the UK and believe me we have had a LOT of LHD cars in the UK.
