Default Canadian Song lyrics...anyone know?

Hi
heard a song by a singer in my local, which i think was written by a singer/songwriter,slightly folky feel about it but i can't place it...does anyone recognise it.
Pretty sure it's by a Canadian female singer/songwriter as it mentions Lake Erie in the lyrics.
One line is 'mill work it ain't easy, mill work it ain't hard'
Could be a standard or something by the likes of Joni Mitchell or Jewel etc?
cheers
mike

Hiya & Happy New Year!

I have found this link to the lyrics and chords:

http://www.guitarboard.com/j/james-t...millworker.php

Apparently it was written by James Taylor but I don't know who has recorded versions of it.

Regards,

Karen S

Emmylou Harris covered it too, apparently.

Mike I think you should hum a few bars! You better start practising "Out on the Myra" as well!!!
