My question was to ask if it would be better to wait alittle longer.

This is my first planned-in-advance visit back to the UK from Canada and I have no idea how the prices or promotions vary over time.

By the way, you could have opened up the tab for promo codes and found that for yourself as well.
It is Red Hot Canada.
Although it doesn't appear to work on the website at the moment.

What was I doing wrong then, I wonder?

I am booking from Canada, so is that code only from the UK?
I haven't used a promotion code before.

maybe try a different browers like Firefox if you use Google Chrome or the other way around.

The promo code is only valid on trips originating in the UK.

You could get around it by booking two one way trips on the two different CA sites.

I was using Internet Explorer because for some reason Chrome won't let me view certain things at the moment (need to sort that out!) but I might move on to Firefox anyway.

It was working fine with no issues until a couple of days ago, when suddenly it just decided to blank out all video content.
Then it also decided to blank out my hotmail and other sites.

I hadn't changed anything or added anything, so I am at a loss to understand what has happened
