Canada Medical Cover - dependent on work ?
I'm sure this will vary with area but Ontario for eg.
so after the 90 days - you are covered (reg of course first)
but you may not have paid any taxes etc. if you are out of work
whilst you get on your feet

Provincial coverage will cover you provided you meet the requirements ( usually residency based)
My experience is limited to Ontario , as far as I am aware you could never work a day in your life and still be eligible for coverage. When you think about it , how else could it be , children are covered so how can you link it to employment?
Drug plan , dental etc is normally the kind if thing you get through work.
