To Canada and back from the USA - visa issues?
 

Hi,

I came to San Francisco with a return ticket to the UK at the end of October last year on the Visa Waiver program. My plan is to get a return flight to Vancouver for 4-5 months at the end of January (my US visa expires 25th Jan), then return to the UK via San Francisco in June.

I remember reading somewhere that there are restrictions on traveling to Canada after the USA if you arrived to the USA on a Visa Waiver. Is that true? Or is there nothing to worry about? I'm also planning on returning to the US for another 3 months in August - are there any issues there given that I've already had 3 months here this year?

Wouldn't anticipate too much trouble coming into Canada - but going back into the US could be somewhat interesting.... Unless you have a very good explanation for wanting to spend so much time there....
