Thanks for the link, according to it's store locator, there is a store in Sylvan Lake that sells the stuff, I'll check it out when I finish the bottle of squash I bought from the Brit store in Cochrane for more than $5.

After a recent trip back to the UK, where I had squash for the 1st time in 5 years I realised how crap the powdered stuff actually is and have since decided it will be worth it for me to buy proper squash in future, I like really weak so it'll last forever.

It's not too expensive either, at least I don't think so.

There are online grocers that stock Robinsons squash and vimto...

Quebec online store: http://www.clarenceandcripps.com/erol.html#1X0

Quebec online store - also sell no sugar robinsons: http://www.bramblehouse.net/index.ph...chk=1&Itemid=4

Oakville proper store: http://www.britisheatsandtreats.ca/products.html

Vancouver proper store: http://www.celtictreasurechest.com/products/grocery.htm

Alberta (online) store: http://uktreats.com/beverages?SID=17...fd93&limit=all also have normal store in Cochrane.

Orangeville and Elora proper stores who sell oxo cubes, vimto, robinsons squash: http://www.blightys.com/Newsletter.html price list: http://www.blightys.com/Price-List.pdf, they also have an online store and will deliver anywhere in Canada.

If anyone is in the Vancouver area and has a pst number, you can bulk buy Brit foods (including Vimto) from here: http://www.britishislesincanada.ca/cashandcarry.html

Jeez, this is one of the things that steems my p*ss on this forum.
A simple question- can I bring squash from the UK in to Canada?

Then a plethora of responses suggesting you can buy it here, drink fresh juice instead, order it from this website bla bla bla.

So that really contributed to the thread. Unless of course you were advocating an different method of transporting liquids.

And a plethora of responses that say "yes you can" .

Alternative suppliers may be useful once the bought over stocks expire!

A conversation with you must be a bundle of laughs - don't vaguely deviate, or offer any alternative thoughts and I guess you'd be happy.

Your sole contribution has been to bitch about the advice, and not offer anything yourself. Is this the wrong time of the month for you?

Yes you can - we packed 6 bottles in with our stuff we had shipped over, and brought 3 or 4 bottles in our cases as well.

For all the people asking why?? Simple - there isn't an equivalent out here. The frozen or powdered stuff has a very bitter aftertaste (imo) and isn't anywhere near as nice. I don't like hot drinks, don't drink milk and not too keen on fruit juice either. Water gets boring quickly. I've lived here for almost 2 years and I still buy Robinsons squash from the UK, about 20 bottles every 4 months. The local garage sell it, but only in 2 flavours and they charge $9 per bottle

When I first read your post, I thought 'squash really?!' then sadly realised I feel exactly the same way as real Twinings Earl Grey teabags...
