Can I land on Sunday?

HI all,
I got a quick question, I intend to land Next Sunday from Seattle WA to Vancouver BC. I wonder immigration will be working on this day? I mean at the border of course, they will be there, but will be paper work to be done as a usual day? Any recommendation and do's and dont's will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all and best regards,

Didn't think about immigration not being able to process TWP on Sundays, we were about to book our flights for Sundays :o Does anybody know days and times that paperwork can be processed or where I can find this info out? I check ed all the usual places, CIC, wiki, airport info etc

Thanks for any advice

I would assume immigration is open 24/7 and does the paperwork there and then.

Thank you all and best regards,

Not many people seem to know this, but rather than do all that tedious paperwork and go through years of waiting for PR, you can just drive across the border on Sundays. You can then pop into Luigi & Tony's One Stop Docu-Shop (Lower East Side) on the Monday morning to get your SIN.

We landed on Easter Sunday last year. Immigration is open when the crossing is open - undesirables try to enter when they feel like it so immigration has to be there for the suspicious people as well at the ordinary people.

Sorry, I didn't really word that properly...we know that general immigration is open 24/7 but we weren't sure if our paperwork for our TWP could be processed 24/7, don't know how different it is for PR paperwork but we just have a letter of permission to recieve a TWP when we enter Canada and have to provide the relevant proof and paperwork. Anyway, it doesn't matter too much now cos our flights are booked  We are arriving on a Friday instead ;)......still curious though for other people, do TWP get processed 24/7.

Thanks again

24/7/365 at major ports. Some of the smaller ports don't have Immigration after 24:00.
