Re: Can it get any better?

That is great news, but it has its oitfalls too Paul!
a) Need to put the seat down after wards
b) No putting shoes on the furniture
c) Once the working day has finished you need to be sympathetic to the wife who will always have a much harder day, doing what ever it is they are supposed to do!
d) Kids earn 25% of your wage for doing nothing other than colouring in the wall, peeling the wallpaper and making the most outragous comments you made about someone public knowledge!
Ha ha ha!
I hope you and the family have a great reunion and everything works out.
PS to all the great Ladies out there I meant it as a bit of a joke we couldnt do it without you!!

Congratulations, sounds like you are having a stroke of good luck. Wishing you all the best. House sold? Yes that deserves to be mentioned more than once!

Hi Paul
Congratulations on getting to Victoria and hope you are having fun exploring and getting to know your way around the place (pretty easy as it's not too big!) We moved here a couple of years ago and still vividly remember all the "settling in" type admin stuff we had to get done on arriving - SIN numbers, MSP, banks, where to shop for what, internet/phone/TV stuff etc etc. Hopefully you've found somewhere to live now you've sold your place back in the UK - fab news esp the way things are going with the housing markets - if you are looking for somewhere to rent, we have a place available (5 bed family house, 10 mins drive from downtown) and would consider a short term agreement and pets as we know ourselves how hard it was to find a rental just for 5-6 months (most want a year long lease agreement minimum), esp with a cat and a dog and not knowing the area; we ended up with the choice of 1 place, a dingy basement, but it enabled us to get know the area and and look for a house to buy. PM me if you're interested. If you want any other info on moving into the area, also feel free to get in touch. Enjoy Victoria! :)
