Re: Calgary Weather!
The weather is just mad!í ½í¸³ But I LOVE IT!
I was prepared for hot summers and cold winters, but it is bonkers, 29C to snow in 25 mins, this surely can't happen anywhere else in the world? I just need to repeat the date....28 July..... I even looked at winter tyres straight afterwards, there must have been a thread on them, but in July.. |

Re: Calgary Weather!
As said, it's hail - not snow.
July is usually roasting hot through to early September, with frequent summer storms. The last 12 months has been really unusual weather though. Edit: Roasting dry hot, not that filthy humid wet hot out east... |

Wait until the winter when it's -29C, then quickly rises to +10C when the Chinook blows in from the Rockies  |

Re: Calgary Weather!
My dad never believes me when I tell him about the weather. Have to say I'm fed up with the severe thunderstorm watch this week, I'm in Somerset and we hardly get anything severe (thank goodness but it would be nice to have a bit of a humdinger like last year in the early hours of Canada Day), it's like we're in our own micro climate. Even last year with the tornado warning it was coming up from Bragg Creek toward Shawnessy and Bridlewood but not us. At least you can't get bored with the weather, I like it, especially the blue skies and sunshine even at -20 etc.
