As a percentage, sure, I'm looking right now at a system which allows a maximum no claims rate of 22% and which gives 15% for five years claims free. In the UK one sees 60% no claims discounts.

However, the premiums are higher here, for me 15% is about $75 a month, so it can be worth the trouble to collect the paperwork.

If you can suck up the first year, it will more than likely drop significantly in the second year, or so i found

My second year in that truck dropped to a few dollars below $1000, almost half the price of the first year...and i was still a month shy of turning 25 (the apparent big discount age lol)

Bike insurance is mad cheap though, obviously had to take my test again, but my Kwak Ninja was only $120 to insure in the first year

We got ours through Intact, they accepted one insurance letter. Husband will look tomorrow at his insurance. We did get help from the Ford garage in Cochrane who were amazing

Holy sh&t.

I have a Kawasaki Concours 14. IIRC, the premium for the year is less than $200.
