Landed April and we chose Calgary due to a job offer and we liked the idea of living close to the mountains :)

Living in Royal Oak - just renting for now.

Still early days and a lot to get used to but looking forward to our first Xmas!

Im down in Bridlewood.... Probably moving to Mckenzie Lake next year...

Winter is definatly here!!

Maybe we should start a Calgary UK club, were we meet maybe once a month?? Great way to make new friends, and share experiences??

We landed in April 2006

We wanted to come to Alberta, and seeing as Calgary is the biggest city we figured it might be easier to find jobs

Landing March 17th 2012

Worked in Gas distribution all my life, and Alberta is the hub of that atm lol

Starting in Cochrane - see where we go/end up from there!

Ask me that last one in about 6 months :rofl:

Arrived just over 5 years ago.

Wife had lived here as a kid on and off in between living in the UK so we had some knowledge of the place.

We're in Coach Hill.

5 years+ and loving life in Calgary and area. We're big fans of the city for a whole bunch of reasons. Still embracing winters and Canadian life in general. Now have a little boy and have no plans to leave.
