Re: calgary
Get up at 6.15 am. Go to work at 7.00 am for 8 am start. Come home at 5.00pm .... go straight to bed nursing a migraine (Chinook, dehydration or a combo of both) and get up again at 6.30pm. Cook supper. Eat supper. Now 9.30 pm, going back to bed.
That's today done for me. However, ........ yesterday got up at 6.15 am. Left for the mountains at 7.00. Got to Lake Louise around 9 am. Skied til 3.30 pm. Got home around 6.00pm. Had half hour in hot bath. Cooked pie and chips for dinner :D and went to bed around 10.00 pm! :D |

Hi Morweena,
That sounds like a wonderful day to me - great scenery, work up an appetite skiing (not that I can) ........ ...... and it was a wonderful day! But work days are work days, so I guess you just have to do that wherever you are. The best thing about work is driving in in the mornings when it's dark I get a wonderful view of the city, all lit up ...... and coming home ..... wow! those mountains again!!! When the mornings are a bit lighter I'll be able to enjoy the pastel sunrises reflected on those same mountains.... I never tire of looking at them, and in my new job can gaze at them from many of the windows! :D |
