What exactly is an "American" car?
Is that a "big three" car made in the far east in a Daewoo plant, or is it an "import", like my Honda, made in Alliston Ontario, or my Japanese Subaru, which was "Team crafted in Indiana":sneaky: |

The "big three". Everybody knows the Americans make really cheap and nasty cars. It's not the workers assembling them, I'm sure they are as good as any other worker on an assembly line, its the companies that design such dross.
To be fare though, things have changed, the initial quality reports for many of the vehicles made by the big three in north america are now among the best, but there is a mountain of perception to overcome now before sales will follow the same trajectory as the build quality. |
