Buffalo Work Permits

My boyfriend is currently here (in Newfoundland) on a 6 month tourist visa. He has his job offer, and positive LMO, and we have just applied to Buffalo for his work permit. Does anyone know approx how long it takes to process from Eastern Canada? Or redirection to a website that will tell me would be appreciated as well. Cheers!
