British telecom engineer needs help!
 
Hi all,

Me and my family are strongly thinking about emigrating to Canada, What i was wondering is are there any job opportunities for telecom engineers and if so who are the best companies to contact.

frames,copper,adsl overhead and underground also should be fibre trained by time i come over. repairs and installation trained

Hi,

I used to work in this same role with BT......now in the offices with another telecoms company.

There is jobs posted with Rogers, Bell and Telus for this role. I believe they use spike to climb poles in Canada rather that a ladder and pole steps.

I am a BT engineer and have recently been taken on by ati telecom part of telus, they were doing a recruitment drive here a couple of months ago, just waiting for visa's to come through then i'm on my way to Calgary.
