They need to sort out their spelling and grammar on their FB page. Seriously offputting.

This one is in Oakville - 649 fourth line (Same plaza as Fifties Diner), and is superb.

I never knew about that one!

I have visited The British Grocer, not bad at all.

There is also The British Treat Shoppe on Jones street in Bronte.

Sometimes (not often) you get a craving for something specific.

:)

Well, it's not like you can live on Canadian style food, can you? Poutine and maple syrup is ok one or twice a day but not much more often than that.

Agreed. Lunch was tomato farcis, jambon fume´, laitue vinaigrette de Dijon, Vieux Panne, Camembert au lait cru d'Isigny, Feuillete´et cafe espress all washed down with a couple of bottles of Cellier du Dauphin.

This was of course all consumed to the background of TMS on Radio 4 long wave and appropriate emotions as England screwed up.

Breakfast was the usual. Home made baguette, smoked salmon, peameal bacon with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, Camembert, cheddar, double Gloucester/Stilton, Marmite, juice, coffee. Background of silence.

Note the CanCon, we're always ready for a raid from the Assimilation Police.

I'm not surprised at the silence what with you two shoving that lot down your gobs for breakfast.

Yesterday's Anguillian chicken barbecue also brought silence, until the rum marinade kicked in.
