BRINGING A RED BRITISH PHONE BOX TO CANADA ?
I would love to bring an old red phone box from England. Any info on cost etc would be appreciated and where to actually buy the old red kiosks please.

Best call your phone company, though, and ask them whether your local exchange can still deal with pulse-dialed calls. Not all can any more.
On edit: if you're really that keen, somewhere in the black hole that is my basement I have a bag of bits that I think probably includes an adapter from a UK to North American phone plug - used to use them for modem cables in hotel rooms back in the dial-up days. Let me know if you'd like me to chuck it in the post...

Edited to add you can buy them at the architectural salvage yards I think. Like I say they are expensive now but i'm sure if you contact a seller of these things that they will have info on shipping them overseas - i'll have a quick look ....................
