Question Bluetooth

Hopefully will be out in February still waiting for work to sort out my transfer

I was given a bluetooth headset for my Nokia mobile ( cell ) phone for Xmas, what I was wondering was will I be able to use it in Canada, I am hoping to get a sim card off Virgin Canada as I am with them here in the UK, any advice will help thanks

Bluetooth is a standard wireless shortwave conneection so any Bluetooth handset should work with a Bluetooth headset. Thats the whole point of having a standard interface.

Hope that helps.

No idea about bluetooth, I have it on my computer but not phone...so I can't test it! But I wanted to let you know that Virgin Canada don't have SIM cards, they're not a GSM network so you won't be able to use a UK phone with Virgin Canada. If you want to go with them, you'll need a new phone.

If you want to keep your new phone and headset, you'll need to make sure your phone is unlocked (and tri- or quad-band) and then get a SIM with Rogers or Fido, I'm not sure if there are any other GSM networks in Canada.

GSM in Canada link

FWIW Virgin rent the Bell Mobility network, which is CDMA. Still havent figured out how Virgin rent from Bell but offer a significantly cheaper pre-paid service!
