Best way to watch BBC Olympic online
Has anybody find a good way to watch BBC Olympic events online?
I tried some VPN and go to BBC iPlayer, but it is not smooth at all. It keeps caching.

Excellent, as I don't want to spend the whole Olympics watching Canadian athletes come in seventh.

Just knowing that Oink likes his Ambridge (as do I, a confirmed listener for more years than I will admit to) I have heard that there will be a problem for the whole of the Olympic period with Internet streaming,and nobody will get the Today programme who isn't there. Is there anyway of sidestepping this problem perhaps?

I was worried about the opening ceremony but I don't know why, Danny Boyle has done us proud. My only critisim, with a great back catalogue why does Paul McCartney always rely on Hey Jude or Let it Be.

I'm feeling left out - If el_richo could send the info to me to it would be great. The more ways to watch in case one isn't working the better.
I actually watched the opening ceremony on a small piece of free software from here which you don't need a VPN for etc It has the majority of free to air channels in the UK and a few more. It can also be used for US TV etc.
Worked great with no buffering yesterday and other times I've used it.

That put me off last time. I noticed during the opening ceremony that they mentioned a poet from Canada and there was some other Canadian link (I forget what) as well. People usually accuse Brit broadcasters of that sort of thing but the BBC at least has a focus on winners and others, not just Brits.
