All the pillow shams that I have looked at have kind of a slit across the middle of the back where you shove the pillow in. Maybe I am looking at the cheap shops! OR.................they are so easy to make even if you are a beginner. |

I too brought my UK bedding with me as I'd just bought some rather expensive stuff. The fitted sheets don;t. The duvet cover doesn't. the curtains only drape half way down the windows. My advice is....dump them or give them to charity and simply start all over again.....hmm..how familiar! |

Thanks for all your replies. We have a uk king size bed so from what you've told me Canadian queen should fit. The other alternative is to buy a few new sets of bedding and bring it with us, at least we'll all have beds for the first few years, and won't have to fork out for new ones. Or we might just keep them for guests (hoping we'll get some).
