BC schools - kids ages & grades

Hi there,

Please could someone confirm what grades my children would be due to join in BC schools September 2020? Is the 'cut off' August 31 as in UK?
Their DOB's are as follows:

#1 October 2005
#2 October 2007
#3 January 2010

That seems like an efficient and simple way.

We moved to BC in August 2007, my Son's Birthday is July 1996 so he was 11 at the time.
They put him into grade 7 which we later found out was one school year above his age. He graduated high school in June 2013 when he was 16 years old.
