BC Average annual income

Does anyone have the statistical information regarding what is the:

1) Average household income in Vancouver

2) Average income for a single person in Vancouver

3) Average income for a family in Vancouver

How much does the average household save per year?

How much does the average single person save per year?

How much does the average family save per year?

you seem to be unhealthily obsessed with money.

www.statcan.gc.ca

Search to your hearts content. It wont have all you are looking for though regarding savings. Go to community profiles for data on particular locations.

Does google not work where you are?

The amounts saved would depend if the person or family are leaching off of friends and acquaintances or living in a shelter and eating at soup kitchens or from the garbage cans behind restaurants.

I read in the paper a couple of weeks ago that average per hour was $22.23. average family i think is around $70,000 per year. Savings would be highly dependent on the individual. Cost of living is high in Vancouver.

Averages are meaningless anyway, as few people fit the average and can be easily skewed.

Yep, no where more so than the UK. But the OP was asking for averages, so averages he got. I do think that 20 bucks an hour, or there abouts, is an achievable wage for Mr Average in Vancouver (At least it was before the economy went tits up. ), I was making that 12 years ago, with only a grade 12 education. A bus driver makes more than that for example.
