If your permanent resident or citizen of Canada, first place is to start with government financial aid and loans, and go from there. That is what most students do.

Just wondered if you knew there had been a change so you don't necessarily need to go back to uni to work as a dentist in Canada -you can try and sit the nebd exams - I think they're really tough but we are going to try this year

Also what job are you doing- if we could do something that would let us move and earn a good living we would seriously consider it. We want to move to alberta and my other half would gladly never see a tooth again.

Still in the UK, really frustrated with how difficult it all seems. i can't believe you're doing that with your BDS after all that time at uni seems really unfair. Since were both dentists we'd definitely need at least one of us to get through the exams to sort out our finances unless one of us got offered something else that paid well. There's some canadian dental students we currently teach that are planning on sitting their equivalency exams after VT so going to pick their brains. Could you have got onto any graduate entry schemes using your degree there?

What's pr? We're in yorkshire- I've (I think) worked out that we would need an employer to sponsor us in order to get over to Canada even if all exams were passed - how easy do you think this would be? Are there corporates like Oasis or IDH in Canada- while they have ruined British dentistry they may be good for this kind of thing? Good luck with the afk we will try to do it in London this year x
