Default Arrive Canada App?

Just wondering, regarding the Arrive Canada App, I've seen this video:

I am just a bit surprised, that it doesn't ask to upload vaccination and PCR test certificates online?

The Arrive Canada App just seems to be a number of questions, but no upload of documentary evidence.

Is this really that simple?

In this video it seems that the upload of the vaccination certificate is possible.

However the test result doesn't seem to be possible to upload?

Just be glad you aren't a former Afghan interpreter working for the Canadian forces as they are only giving them 72 hours to fill out forms for resettlement in Canada.

The official video - although a little out of date as it doesn't include the latest updates re vaccinated / no quarantine - on the official website it does say 'upload your proof of vaccination in ArriveCAN'

Proof of vaccination is uploaded to ArriveCan, but the test results are carried separately by the person to show to the airline at check in to get on a flight - and to present to the CBSA Officer at the port of entry. - Probably not able to be put on the ArriveCan app because they have to be shown to the airline too.

You must present an accepted test result (paper or electronic proof) which must include:
  • Traveller name and date of birth
  • Name and civic address of the laboratory/clinic/facility that administered the test
  • The date on which the test was conducted
  • The type of test conducted
  • The test result
Whether you're entering Canada by air, land or marine vessel, submit:
