Kent? Sevenoaks/ Tunbridge Wells?
Seriously, you don't live in Kent anymore. Embrace your new home. It would be like me asking where in Kent I can find the Canadian lifestyle I miss.

1. Schools in Canada do not vary as much as they apparently now do in the UK. You send your kid to the school that has the catchment area for where your house is situated, and the schools within a school district really do not vary that much, except maybe in the incomes of the parents. The education works out to be about the same.
2. People in Canada don't gab over the backyard (or front yard) fence. You'll be sadly disappointed if that is what you want.
3. Doubt very much that you will get discussions going about those topics ................ at the playground much more likely to be the difficulties of getting day care! You might a discussion on how expensive things are, but it won't be "finance"!
4. Crime ... read the crime reports. You'll get different stories from different people!

In Vancouver I would agree, but elsewhere in Canada it can be quite possible to chat with neighbors over the fence or whatever.
When I lived in Edmonton we rented a house, neighbors on both sides regularly talked to us and other neighbors, in Squamish my MIL neighbors are always talking to her, some having only moved in the last couple of years and even just a few months ago.
Just depends where you are in Canada.

Also depends on how friendly the neighbours are, and whether they like you!!
We have occasionally had neighbours we have talked to from our patio to their garden, but many didn't when the house was being rented over a period of about 30 years. Tenants moved in and out every year, and weren't interested in being neighbourly. The son of the original owner now lives in a new house that replaced the old one, and we are friendly with them.
It should also be noted that many fences in residential Vancouver, especially houses built in the last 10 years, have 5-6' high fences all round the backyard ............... not at all easy to talk over the fence then!
We tend to meet in each other's gardens for an evening or go to each other's houses for coffee ............. but the English "chat over the back fence" is a different kettle of fish.

Thank you all for your replies.
By Kent lifestyle I meant beautiful nature, good quality schools, decent people to talk to at the backyard or local playground about politics/finance/law.
Plus, reasonable commute time to financial district (i.e. City in London or Downtown Toronto) and safe community.

I'm still reeling from the "decent people" comment!
