Not Sept, but we applied end July 03 and received our AOR 8th Aug. However - I suspect it depends whether you applied pre or post the points change in Sept... Lisa |
Sept '03 applicant - AOR
Still no London Sept 03 applicants that have received AOR's?

John have you thought of provincial nomination to speed things up?
|
Thought about it, but although I am unbelievably imaptient I don't want to limit myself to residing in one province when if I wait a few more months I will be free to roam the whole of Canada! (I hope)

Out of sheer curiosity if you apply for Prov Nom... do you have to reside in that place until you're eligable for Citizenship?
|
Not sure on the specifics S, but under provincial nominee it must be your intention to work and live in that province only. Ontario doesn't have one.
How lucky r u with your Canadian passport!!! JD |
I know! Did I mention it only took about 7 weeks to arrive from the time I applied for it. :D
I do hope it goes quickly for you though. I don't envy you at all. |

[/QUOTE Hi Sibsie & John Just a quick thought I was led to believe it takes 6 months for the provincial nominaation to come through and then you have to wait again for the main canada house bit. So it is probably the same timescale I would of thought? |
Thanks Dazed. I'm learing so much about immigration!
