Anyone working in Border Control

Hi

Just looking for any info on the service and opportunties. Hubbie passed his exam and recently updated his status to citizen. He is hoping to hear if he gets called for training. When he sat the test he got told they were mainly looking for BC - can anyone confirm this. Much as I have no problems moving again to anywhere in Canada, but preferably not up North, we just could not afford to buy in BC - do you know if they are looking for other areas?

Any info would be useful,

Not all of BC is unaffordable, depends where it is.

However generally near airports and border control areas it is more expensive than out in the boonies. There are not many border control jobs away from these areas.

Not too expensive around Nighthawk though, not too busy.

I wouldn't have thought it would cost much to live near Kingsgate, there isn't much there. Cranbrook isn't that expensive.

Apply for Beaver Creek. They supply accommodation in trailers.
