Anyone in Ottawa ??
 

Well it looks like i may have secured a job in Kanata - Ottawa. I have to come over there soon for my interview but if there is any one near to Kanata i would love to here from you. Whats it like there ? should i perhaps be looking elsewhere ? Im a toolmaker (manufacturing) so i assume i have to be looking at Ontario or maybe not.

Also i keep reading about the long winters. Just how long and severe are they in the Ottawa area. I quite like the thought of the cold crisp sunny days but we do like summer as well.

Im sure i could get work else where so perhaps i should be looking to settle in another area. It doesnt have to be Ontario as long as there is engineering.

Any advise would be much appreciated.
