Anyone moved to Ottawa - area recommendations

We are looking to move to Canada and like the Ottawa area, we have 2 children (8 years & 2 years) I’m looking for an area with good schooling, lower crime rate and amenities locally for all the family.
Many recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

As has already been suggested.. you need to ascertain whether your husband can get his Provincial Certification and then look for work - rather than specifying a particular City. You also need to find a route to PR. No point in getting specific about school districts in Ottawa if the only work he can get is in Toronto, Windsor or elsewhere - or if you don't have a route to PR!

Do check your CRS score etc., and post to the main Immigration forum, if you need some help with that part of it.
