Hmmm, I have contacted dingbat as some info on job opportunities in Social Work from someone that actually works in the system would be great. I have also looked at the threads you provided. I'm at a loss really. We obviously need to go where the work is but North Van seems pretty expensive, albeit not as expensive as where I live now.

I thought we had pretty much narrowed down our location choices but now I feel like we are back to the drawing board again. I can see a long night ahead of me...

I thought it would be our ideal location and so we visited.....it takes a very long time to get there and it's nice when you do get there but nice as it was, I wouldn't want to live there full-time.

I prefer Revelstoke but again, it's a long way to the next place....

Too far from anywhere and I grew up isolated on a farm so I'm not exactly suburban in my outlook.....

Unless you're a small town loving ski bum / pot smokin' hippy, then I wouldn't move to Nelson.

It's one hell of a place to visit though
