Any ideas for a venue yet? Otherwise I will do a scout on the web and see what I come up with. It's just that you live there and I don't want to pick somewhere that's not very good

How about Historic Properties? last meet was successful and with summer in full swing it is all open and should cater to the needs of all.
FWIW. there have been no shootings, major drug busts or anything news worthy happen at Historic Properties so no Kevlar required!!

My hubby was talking about a theme park to the north of Halifax by about 1.5 hours. Anyone know what it's called?

If this is Mr Torticat, shouldn't you be changing a nappy or baking?

I'm always open to a spot of lunch. Historic properties sounds cool. Whatever suits everyone really. I know what it's like with kids, but ours are in their teens now so it's easier (some days )

There's Atlantic Playland just outside Halifax, few waterslides, small rides for kids and "the only ferris wheel in Nova Scotia". Upper Clements Park in the valley (probably about 2 hours plus drive away - never been there). Magic Mountain is somewhere around Moncton NB, never been there either.

Sounds great...no fridge space though! I feel a rapid consumption of cake is due?
