anyone in halifax ns???????

Hi
I live in Bc.
My friend is travelling to halifax, for a holiday in june. (From uk)
She has been looking at car hire, and she says everything seems very expensive with the bigger companies.
Does anyone know any reasonable car hire places there they could recommend?
thanks!!!!!

Hi

We have just booked for 2 weeks to NB via Halifax, NS and arranged car hire from airport. We were going to use Alamo as used them before and always been fine but couldnt provide car seats so now going with Hertz. They were the two cheaper ones I found.

We booked through airline networks www.airline-network.co.uk. They use some of the major rental companies. We have used them twice, once for Halifax NS and once for the USA and both times have found them the most reasonably priced.

remember to use their website... at the end of the web address use .ca not .co.uk or .com

when i go over to ireland its so much cheaper to book online thru budget.ie than budget.co.uk

Glen at National Car hire based in Barrington Street undercut all others significantly including the National office at the airport.....we booked via him but collected at the airport...excellent service.....

I know it's hard to believe, but Hertz are one of the cheapest, you also get free spouse cover if you are a member of the AA (provide no. up front at booking time):
http://www.hertz.co.uk
also try these:

Agree there like I said earlier using them ourselves. Also its worth double checking what level of coverage you get and whats included as with their rates CDW etc etc is included and on alot its extra.
