Anyone flown globespan

Hi Guys

Has anyone flown globespan? i have just been looking at flights to toronto for september and found globespan over 50% cheaper than all other flights £654 for 2 adults and 1 child. I am a great believer in you get what you pay for but this seems to be to good to be true

Thanks

Steve

Have flown from Belfast on Globespan. the rows of seats were quite close. If you are tall your in for a very cramped flight. But if the price is right go for it

Also flew Zoom in Dec There was more room between seats also you could prebook specific seats from seating plan or pay extra for more leg space.
Anyway Goodluck with the plans

Yeah what i thought unfortunately being 6'2 does make any flight cramped at the best of time. did you get food on the flight?

My husband is 6ft 4 . So we checked out the seating plan for extra leg room seats and paid extra for this with Zoom.
They also supplied a full lunch and snacks plus complementary wine.

Found the service very attentive, and were great with kids. The food was as good as Zoom or Air Canada. Legroom was a little short but with that much difference in price I think I would either put up with it, or look for extra legroom seats if available.

Apart from Thomas Cook (who probably won't be the same after the merger with My Travel but anyways), I won't be flying charter again, you really get what you pay for.

I have used Globespan 3 times - and my feelings are the same as everyone has said but I am a big believer that you get what you pay for .

My Hubby also 6' 2" and struggles with Globespan so when he went one way in February he went Premium with extra leg room with Zoom. Had no complaints and said it was fab - added bonus is that you get extra 10kg of luggage too think it only cost £99 for upgrade one way too.

Something I also find with Globespan (Air Transat) is that I find the stewardesses a little aloof and not quite as friendly as "european" stewardesses maybe it is because alot of their cabbin crew seem to be french canadian

Glad to hear the comment about Thomas Cook as I am flying with them via Canadian Affair next month.

Try AC. Their staff seems to consist of French Canadian retired tax auditors.

I would thank he's probably not:

- French

- a woman

so you're likely safe.
