Reading all your posts I feel like I'm the only person on here going to Canada on my own! Anyone else out there going solo?

I'm all on my lonesome well apart from the kitty :) Where abouts are you heading? Whistler?? Well I'm in Vancouver so give me a shout when you get here & we could have a :beer: or two!

I came out here on my own on a work permit. Im not sure it would have been such an easy decision with a family in tow.

I was heading out for my OH, but that it seems, wasn't meant to be.

If I ever do go then, I'll be going solo!

I landed last January (2005) on my own. No regrets whatsoever, in fact I've just bought another house, and I have many, many more friends here than I ever had in the UK.
