Not from there but from Edinburgh, my 2 dogs however are from Monikie.

We now live in Oakville.

I live in Mississauga and I also have two pups but mine were born in Canada and the States.

Oakville is such a nice place. Not far from me at all.

Do you go back to Scotland often? we have only been here a year and have not gone back yet, enjoying the summer here too much

What kind of dogs do you have? ours are labradoodles.

I just came back here last week. I was over in Arbroath (where my mum lives). I have lived here for many, many years. Married to a Canadian.

My pups are Chinese Shar-Peis. My girl is a Canadian Champion and my boy is my first rescue Shar-Pei brought up from Texas where he had been wandering the streets. So ill and starving. Just heartbreaking.

Wasabi was just skin and bones when we bought him and brought him here. Now he is healthy and happy. Just the way he should be.

From the picture, the Chinese Shar-Pei would seem to be the spitting image of Hazel McCallion.

Aberdeen is not far at all. How are you enjoying life on the east coast? Sadly, I have never been there yet but it looks so beautiful.

One of these days I will just have to make the trip. I know it will certainly be worthwhile.

We really love it. Live in a small town and we get involved in loads of activities around town so never stuck for things to do. We are very close to the PEI ferry terminal at Caribou and have to say I love PEI with a passion

I was in Aberdeen last week. It was 10C and raining. Just like Newfoundland then.

I was in Arbroath a couple of weeks ago and yes rain. It was welcoming to me after the heat and humidity of Toronto area.

I used to love the heat but now I prefer it to be a little cooler. It is the humidity I have a hard time with.

Oh how we change. Growing old I guess.

Must be such a change from the U.K. but sounds like you are enjoying your life. Good to hear. I was told the winters are really bad ~ any truth to that?

originally from up north of aberdeen, but lived for 7 years just outside laurencekirk. used to walk the dogs all the time at lunan bay just beside montrose.
