Anybody happy in Canada?

Re: Anybody happy in Canada?
I don't think it is that he/she is looking for something and not getting it, but getting what he/she doesn't want.
Some of the advice is brilliant!
But some posters are not posting constructive/nice/helpful things.
There is always a mix of posts on any thread and unfortunately, you have to take the good with the bad but that doesn't make it any more pleasant to read the bad bits.
(Just for me!)

I don't remember saying that. I have step-up transformers as well but I find they're a hassle because they're heavy, plus I wouldn't recommend people bring stuff with them that uses a lot of electricity, transformers waste it, e.g. if you have an electric fire, AC unit, etc.
Why do you have a 220V supply? Are you talking about before it gets to the panel? I think it's actually 240V, not 220. People call the outlets 110V but they're actually supposed to be 120V.
