Hi,

A bit of a long shot... we planning on moving to Calgary around November 06. We have sold alot of our stuff, however still have some furniture to ship.

I dont know if it is possible to share a container with anyone, not sure if it will bring costs down??

Has anyone already done this?

or

Is anyone planning a move around Oct or Nov?


I know this shipping thread has been done and done, however we have done our research with shipping companies and just looking at possible ways to bring costs down?

Any advice would be appreciated. PM me if needed.

Hi Darren,

If your volume of stuff isn't enough to fill a container, then this is what the shippers do anyway. It's called groupage. You don't have to find someone to share with - the shipper does it for you.

I will mention this to them and see what they come back with as we'll only be taking around 3 or 4 things over with us.
