Any suggestions for an apartment?
 

I got a job in downtown Toronto (within two weeks of landing) but am hard pressed to find a decent apartment under $850. I did research on the internet and am quite frankly exhausted by it. Any idea regarding a good apartment not necessarily close to downtown but accessible via either GO or TTC.. I am willing to look beyond North York/Etobicoke/Scarborough....

It cost us $1,500/month for a crappy apartment in Calgary when we first got here.
