anybody got any information on Medicine Hat, what its like, house prices, cost of living etc...:)

We visited Medicine Hat last year for hubby to attend an interview.

I found it very dry in Medicine Hat compared to Lethbridge where we are going - although there is a fabulous water park there - but it isnt called "alberta'a sunniest city" for nothing.

According to Wikipedia its major claim to fame is Rudyard Kipling's famous line "all hell for a basement" referring to the vast reserves of natural gas beneath it.

The city has large natural gas reserves that help keep taxes (property) low.
