Any expat groups in the Ottawa area?
 

We're landing in Ottawa as permanent residents in two weeks (hooray!), and I wondered if there any social groups for expats in the city or surrounding area.

Although we've spent years on BE while waiting our visa, and like to think we know enough to get by, it might be nice to meet up with others who've already made the move.

Are there such groups (whether they're BE members or not)? I've had a look on the net but nothing much came up. Surely expats like to meet others in the same boat?

Hiya, you could try this link, we have gone to a few of the Calgary ex-pat meet-ups, great to swap stories and info etc etc .....there are also loads of different types of groups dependant on your interests...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
