Any crime scene examiners on the boards?
I really hope this is in the right place...If not mods I am very sorry.
As the title really. Are there any Crime scene examiners/Investigators on the boards currently working in Canada? Don't worry I'm not going to pick your brains about how cool is your job, I am one and know it's not

boy d who posts here is in the RCMP. He does lots of CSI stuff and he's on here quite often boasting about how he nabbed some villain or other after a quick DNA test from a piece of dandruff.

most crime scene's here are done by police officers, who apprentice for 4 years under experiened FIS (forensic ident services) . Labs are civillians though, other than less sophisticated lab work, such as fingerprints, some tool mark impression and DNA swabs etc....
I have seen some civillians at crime scenes, but it tends to be more for a very specific non-traditional role or for the exposure/experience of it.

My dog got his ear split by a racoon last week - he came indoors and shook his head - I am still finding blood splats . . . .I could never be a murderer!
