I just looked at a DVD called 'The Beautiful Aquarium' it came out in 2003. On Amazon UK it is Â£4.50. On Amazon.ca, new it's $34.00 or I can have it used for $38.00. Is it a wonder that ones needs a de-stress DVD?

That's another weird one - used sometimes costs more than new on the same amazon site.

It's worth investigating some of the advertisers directly. Thriftbooks was brilliant a few years ago. Loads of books for just 1c each and a good mailing cost.

They still have the ridiculously cheap prices but the mailing costs are far less favourable now. :(

It's nowhere near like it is in Canada though. How many times have I heard about I've got a cousin who lives in so on and wherever who sent me this thing so I saved a couple of dollars on it. Like I said, talk to people in line at the post office or go to a land border POE.

People for example wearing all the new clothes they bought to avoid CBSA.

I know in the UK people go over to France to hunt for bargains but in Canada it really is the national pastime. I've spoken to several people in BC who claim they wouldn't be able to survive if they couldn't go to Bellingham to go shopping and buy gas.
