All becoming scarily real!

We've just accepted an offer on our house, and all of a sudden I'm getting very scared!
OH is off to North Bay, Ont in a month regardless, and the children and I are going to follow once the house sale is completed.
But that's it, offer accepted, and I think we will be following sooner rather than later.
All those years of dreaming and waiting are over, and the reality is starting to hit!

The name of the town says it all. NORTH Bay. In Canada, as well as the UK, north should be interpreted as colder. The north of Scotland is generally colder than the south of Scotland which is generally colder than the south of England.

I personally like North Bay but please understand winter starts earlier, finishes
later and it gets bloody cold for extended periods and gets a lot of snow. If you can, try and plan a mid-winter break to Florida or the Caribbean.
