Alberta hiring nurses...again
I don't know if this is good news or bad news to tell the truth.
The article doesn't say if they'll be hiring from out of country.

Last time they did this we were hit with the most recent recession and they froze positions and encouraged some to leave.

There could be a genuine need because of that.

As there are many under-employed nurses in Canada, this looks to be an opening for them. One hopes this will encourage other jurisdictions to open their budgets, but hard to say on that. The need does not necessarily translate into action by those who hire.
