Default Air Transat

Anyone know if Air Transat have seat back TVs to keep the kids happy if we use them to fly to Europe in about 6 weeks. They seem to be the only financially viable option for flying into Gatwick from Calgary then back from Munich. Lest than $4000 fro the three of us rather that the $4000 per person Air Canada want.

If the answer is no, does anyone know of a portable DVD player that is multi region.

No they dont, only screens at intervals in the roof of the plane, unless you book a bulkhead seat and it will be right in front of you.

We flew with them 2 months ago, there dead dead cheap, but you get what you pay for and i hope your a family whos horizontally challenged LOL as there seat pitch is around 29 inches. Not a bad flight but as i said you get what you pay for.

Yep, we've even thought about this, although from Bielfeld instead of Munich since my wife has some good friends in the German construction industry and she is now working part time for a small company specialising in importing European tradesmen. Timing is just as bad though

I flew with them a couple of weeks ago an on the Airbus a310 (I think that was the plane - as he adjusts his anorak ) The only one I've been on that's had seat back TV's is the Airbus A330 which I used when I few Thomas Cook airlines to Vancouver (this stopped off in Calgary). If you look out for this type of plane (Canadian Affair use them as well) you'll get the set back TV (which are ).

Hope this helps.

Dodgy clientele though, a recent LGW-YWG flight had to turn back over Iceland to offload an abusive passenger at Glasgow who needed restraining Stewardess told my father it "happens quite often". :scared:

We looked at Air Transat last summer but the Travel agent said they didn't have seat back TV's and I rely on them to keep the kids occupied especially when I travel by myself with them. We use Thomas Cook, through Canadian affair and have been very happy with them and the price.
